PDF Forms For Lotus Domino: Compendia Implements DominoPDF

Compendia, a partner in Norway, has implemented a stock / fund trading application using DominoPDF for FMG, a multi-manager fund company.

About FMG

Founded in 1989, FMG is an independently owned company and is one of the most experienced firms in the multi-manager arena.

FMG offers a comprehensive range of investment alternatives for both individual and institutional investors around the world.

They focus and invest primarily with small fund managers, as they believe that size is an issue for future hedge fund performance. Risk management is a critical part of portfolio construction and manager selection, and significant resources are spent on tracking existing investments.

Investment decisions are made by the Investment Committee, which has a combined +50 years of investment expertise.

Lotus Notes / Domino Development

The Lotus Notes application helped FMG produce agent lists and write forms for a stock / fund trading system.

The trade system requires a lot of data entry for application forms. Customers buying stocks / funds can get PDF reports to print / view portfolios which are generated on the fly.

The previous system required paper forms, Microsoft Word documents and faxes. The new system is more user-friendly and consistent.

The DominoPDF Solution

A variety of Notes To PDF solutions were investigated, however the conclusion was that DominoPDF was easier to use and faster to implement.

In addition, we got excellent response and assistance from DominoPDF.

We achieved a tremendous advantage because we didn’t need to develop new forms for our customer, but simply converted the existing documents into PDF easily with DominoPDF.
